Liking to work is not something most people claim. I do. Not because of some goodhearted, philanthropic cause or drive to better the world (that's great and all), but because I need to be busy, stimulated, etc and like to see the results of efforts of any sort. Not working, does not fit too well, hence my regular bombardment of request to anyone, who might connect me to anyone, who knows anyone...
Christmas does not fit well in this program. If my aspirations of everyone responding to me were not as fast as desired before, well everyone going on break, mandatory vacation, etc puts things to a crawl.. Hence, Christmas=no one working=me not working=Grinch'ness..
Fortunately for all, a certain other person is taking advantage of this time off to put her efforts in to our personal public works projects, so I am being brought on board, for cleaning, cooking shopping, repairs, etc.. FDR and Obama got nothing on her, they just applied/are applying a similar principle to a larger problem.
The result.Working = no being a grinch..wait a moment. Did I ever mention the caveat that I kind of hate domestic work responsibilities...
