Working on a deep bench

A great man once said, "it's all about building and maintaining a deep bench". My pal and me are working on our benches up here in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho. After a slow start to the winter season, the snow is falling and it's definitely going to be a white Christmas! The hardest decisions today have been who to ask to get a free lift ticket and whether a white russian or a scotch is a better beverage for the hot tub. Last night was scotch....coupled with Red Stripes (Scotland and Jamaica have never been so close)...followed by a crazy shot circus. There was no shortage of talent as we deviated from the no pot before going out plan, and proceeded to rock into town pie eyed and optimistic. The routine bar crawl begins with the Sawtooth, followed by the Cellar Pub, and then the Casino. Ahhh The Casino, the only bar in town that allows smoking and for some kizmit reason doesn't charge us for drinks! Everything seemed to be somewhat predictable until an old family friend entered and made everything seem wonderfully acceptable....
